Ok..So why do Accountant's have to wear stuffy button-down-shirts and neck-ties.!!! I wanna wear a Van Halen T-shirt or my favorite Metallica T-shirt to work!!.... I mean you have more bad accountant's running around wearing a suit and tie than I care to acknowledge. I know more well dressed CPA's who I wouldn't hire to calculate my sales tax. What you wear should not reflect on how you perform and to assume that you are compentant because you went to wal-mart and bought a $50 suit made by little Chinese Kids means only two things......One is "Jack" and the second is "Shit"
What should matter is the trust you have built with your accountant based on respect, friendship, and the ability to solve poblems as they arise!!! Oh and filing your tax returns on time also helps a little, ... well ok maybe it helps alot but that is beside the point....
So all your CPA/Accounting Rockers UNITE and stand up for your God given right to be comfortable in your Heavy Metal Pajamas and a comfortable all-cotton t-shirt while calculating that Section 179 expense and SHOUT! SHOUT! SHOUT!.....SHOUT AT THE DEVIL!!!!!!
